Personal Care Products Council To Host Webinar on Aug. 13

The topic is cosmetic adverse event investigation, signal detection and post-market surveillance under MoCRA.

Join Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) and SafetyCall International on Aug. 13 from 12-1pm for a webinar on cosmetic adverse event investigation, signal detection, and post-market surveillance under MoCRA.

The event features Anna VerMeer, PharmD, a senior clinical toxicologist and pharmacovigilance officer at SafetyCall International LLC, a multidisciplinary healthcare firm serving industry in the areas of adverse event management, regulatory reporting, post-market surveillance and product safety.

According to PCPC: “The Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) established mandatory adverse event recordkeeping and serious adverse event reporting requirements for cosmetic manufacturers, elevating post-market surveillance (PMS) from industry best practice to regulatory requirement.

“Effective PMS programs, however, extend beyond compliance. This webinar examines how organizations can systematically evaluate adverse event data to identify emerging safety signals and how to use those signals to support both consumer protection and informed regulatory decision-making. Attendees will come away with practical frameworks for signal detection, correlation assessment, and the investigative steps that connect the data to real-world product safety outcomes,” said PCPC.
